Alpro

PLANT POWER

Alpro became a consistent partner with Immediate Media after the success of the first campaign I worked on back in 2017. In 2018, Alpro booked a two-burst campaign which started in January and ran until March, and then again in September, which ran until November. They are still a consistent client to date, re-booking each year after my departure.

Alpro wanted to elevate their products and show versatility across every meal of the day; it wanted to break apart from being seen as just ‘yoghurts and soya’ and become a staple part of the weekly food shop. We combated this problem by creating a range of bespoke recipes, photography, and videography content that leveraged the products as well as a microsite that housed product details, bespoke recipes, and tips and tricks. The campaign ran across BBC Good Food, Olive, and Delicious magazines.

It was my role in the campaign to art-direct the photo and videography shoots, which resulted in mood boards, storyboards, and briefings to the home economists Ellie Jarvis, Ellie Mulligan, and Katy McClelland, who all created nutritious, well-balanced, and product-focused recipes with Alpro being the hero in every recipe. As well as art-directing, I had the pleasure of creating print layouts, microsite layouts, and digital ads. I also worked with prop stylist Sarah Birks and photographers Lauren Mclean and Adrian Lawrence.

It was a joy to work across all areas of the campaign, and I’m proud that the work we produced has resulted in year-on-year rebookings for the business.
